About Patrick Whelan
PATRICK WHELAN Artist’s Statement “Inside every face is a reflection of all humanity. Look into another person’s face and on some level you will always see yourself. Patrick, I purchased this beautiful original drawing for my wife several years ago. It has brought us a lot of joy and our friends and family have admired her in the entryway of our home. We think of her as our family angel. We are excited to see your exhibit at the Pageant of the Masters next year.
Patrick Whelan replied:
Thank you Carlos! That's exactly the kind of feeling I had about her as I created that image. I wanted a magical, loving angel that would reach out to the viewer and to bring them comfort in their life. It brings me more joy than you know to hear that she has become exactly that for someone. Thank you again for your comments, and yes, definitely look for me at the Festival of the Arts 2020 in Laguna Beach this summer. I'll look forward to seeing you and your family there!
