Artist's Description
This is a very large oil painting depicting a ship sailing through the universe in a sea of stardust. The earth and moon are also visible. It is a symbolist, fantasy work featuring a host of colorful and interesting people representative of the population of planet earth. There are also a couple of famous personages, as well as a mermaid gliding through the stardust in a seashell carriage being pulled by two seahorses. There is a floating piano, a ballerina, a rocker and a violinist, and a girl surfing in the stardust. Additionally, there is a bicyclist, and a man fishing off the back of the ship and catching a star. The artist himself can be seen on the main deck busily painting this very artwork. There are many fascinating and colorful people on board too numerous to describe here. This is a painting that will capture and hold someones attention for a very long time.

He began illustrating for magazines while a student and continued to expand his...
